Roasted Willow
Website/Storefront Mockup
Roasted Willow started as a web design class project, where we were tasked with creating a mockup website for an imaginary small business. I decided to go with a coffee shop concept, aiming to design a space that felt calm, welcoming, and affordable—especially for college students looking for a good study spot.
To make it feel as real as possible, we created a Google Form for actual students to fill out, asking what they’d want in a coffee shop. Their feedback helped shape the design— a relaxing atmosphere, cheap coffee, and a space that feels inviting to everyone. The pastel green, pink, and tan color scheme keeps it neutral and modern, making it a spot that doesn’t lean too trendy or too rustic, just a perfect mix of cozy and functional.
The website mockup reflects that same energy—clean, simple, and easy to navigate—while the storefront mockup brings the brand to life in a physical space. This project was all about blending aesthetics with practicality, creating a space where students could study, recharge, and enjoy a good cup of coffee without breaking the bank.
Through Roasted Willow, I was able to explore how branding, research, and thoughtful design can bring an idea to life in a way that feels authentic and practical.
